SYLMAR, Calif. – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a MetroLink train in Sylmar and Friday authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division responded at 10:20 p.m. Thursday to 12887 N. San Fernando Road and Bledsoe Street where they learned the victim was standing on the northbound train tracks and struck by the train, according to an LAPD spokesman.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s age, name and gender were not immediately known.

They wanted to be hit.. the chances of you getting hit by a train are significantly lower of your not standing on the tracks.. anybody who is hit by a train is not there by accident and it’s their own fault if they get hit
