HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – A shooting in Hollywood Friday evening left two people wounded, one critically.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Willoughby and north Highland avenues shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday to a report regarding shots fired.
Detectives described the suspect as a 6-foot-2-inch, 150-pound, 55- year-old Hispanic man wearing black clothing who fled the scene westbound on Willoughby Avenue in a white SUV.
KCAL9 reported the two victims were homeless. One was taken to a hospital in critical condition and the second was said to be in stable condition.
Highland was closed as police conducted their investigation.
