I wasn’t sure if you covered the city of Paramount but we have concerns about David Verdugo being named the interim superintendent of Paramount Unified School District.
Verdugo is a partner with Leadership Associates who was hired as a consultant, by the district, to conduct a national search for a superintendent. Verdugo is currently the interim superintendent of the district.
How is he allowed to be both a consultant and an employee simultaneously?
If the District Attorney’s office is going after Los Angeles Councilman Curren Price for violating Government Code 1090, what is he going to do about Verdugo?
