STANTON, Calif. – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a Yukon SUV, authorities said Saturday.
The collision occurred at approximately 11:52 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Katella Avenue and Beach Boulevard, according to County News TV.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim lying in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV Yukon remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
The victims identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
