LIGHTSCAPE returns to the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden for its third season from November 17, 2023, through January 2, 2024. Reimagined for 2023, this after-dark, illuminated trail will span one mile and feature spectacular sights with eye-catching artistic installations that come alive at night with color, imagination, and sound.
Lightscape will showcase festive crowd favorites, like the magnificent Winter Cathedral and the return of the Fire Garden, as well as stunning new installations along an all-new, expanded trail of more than a mile long. Visitors will be dazzled by tens of thousands of twinkling lights used in various creations designed to showcase the natural environment of the Arboretum. These include Light Lines, featuring over 100 stems of light, the Dancing Palms, Feast of Light, and the Flower Lawn, with flowers towering over ten feet in the air. Lightscape is a truly memorable, family-friendly walking event perfect for holiday entertainment and gatherings.
The L.A. Arboretum produces Lightscape in association with Sony Music, which amazes millions of people year after year with similar shows in multiple locations across the U.S., U.K., and Australia. Additionally, Lightscape is creatively produced by Culture Creative.
Lightscape opens to the public on Friday, November 17th, 2023, and runs on select dates until December 14th, when it runs daily, through January 2, 2024 (closed Christmas Day).
