LONG BEACH, Calif. – Unite Here Local 11 members voted across greater Los Angeles to authorize a strike which includes hospitality workers in Long Beach from the downtown Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
The union reported that 96% of those voting, voted for a strike.
Union leaders targeted the long July 4th holiday to begin the strike.
