PALMDALE, Calif. (2UG) – A person has died in a single-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon.
It is being reported that the driver was driving at a high rate of speed before crashing their work truck into a tree.
Sheriff deputies and fire personnel responded to the intersection of Rancho Vista Blvd and Summerwind Drive and attempted life-saving measures but the person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The person’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
