LOS ANGELES – A man was rushed to a hospital Saturday afternoon after he was shot in the West Adams area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 3:07 p.m. on Jefferson Boulevard at Buckingham Road, west of Crenshaw Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.
The victim was described as a man between the ages of 30 and 40 who was conscious and breathing from a “possible gunshot wound to the head,” Madison said.
The man’s condition was not known, he said.
A possible suspect was seen eastbound in a vehicle on Jefferson at nearby Wellington Road after the shooting, Madison said.
