TUSTIN, Calif. – A 21-year-old man who was convicted of robbery as a juvenile was charged Monday with shooting a man in Tustin on Memorial Day.
Daniel Martinez, who was convicted of robbery in March 2019, was accused of two counts of attempted murder, according to the criminal complaint. He faces sentencing enhancements for the discharge of a gun causing great bodily injury and the discharge of a gun against a second man.
Martinez did not enter a plea at his Monday arraignment, which was rescheduled for June 22 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
