HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – A 60-year-old man was attacked Sunday in East Hollywood and his alleged assailant was arrested.
The attack happened around 5:30 p.m. at 1615 N. Alexandria Ave., just south of Hollywood Boulevard and a couple of blocks west of Barnsdall Art Park, according to Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman.
The victim suffered a laceration, Eisenman said, but it was unclear what type of weapon was involved.
The suspect, who was in the process of being booked, was arrested at the scene.
A motive for the attack was unknown.
