LONG BEACH, Calif. – The City of Long Beach has awarded eight people notice of intent to receive a Cannabis Dispensary license on June 1, according to the LB4D news site.
With out a protest, the applicant awards are final and the eight applicants may begin the process to apply for a dispensary license. The Notice of Intent to Award announcement began a protest period. A protest against an applicant from another applicant will trigger a review process.
The eight applicants who received the award notice are:
•Carlos Zepeda (Long Beach Push LLC)
• Derrick White
• Ronald Ockmey (Locals Equity Distribution)
• Michael Macias (Mac)
• Ty Teissere
• Bryant Ezeji (Eufloria Growth Company LLC)
• Sanjeevi Rao (Long Beach High LLC)
• Nathan Bowles (Marley Exchange Holdings Inc)
The eight applicants had the highest scores in the process from the top 20 applicants that were selected for the interview selection process.
It has not been determined if any of the named persons have made campaign contributions to any members of the Long Beach City Council prior to their being awarded the notice of award.
