LONG BEACH, Calif. – A man was hospitalized and a woman was arrested following a stabbing in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The stabbing occurred about 11:05 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Pacific Avenue, near Sixth Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The victim and suspect were involved in a dispute when the woman allegedly stabbed the man with a knife in the lower body, police said.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital for treatment and officers took the woman to jail, police said.
Investigators were working to learn the motive for the stabbing, police said.
