LOS ANGELES – Vice-President Kamala Harris stopped by WNBA game Friday night during her visit to Los Angeles.
Harris received a standing ovation during the Los Angeles Sparks vs Phoenix Mercury game and made it a point to embrace Brittney Griner before her first regular-season WNBA game following more than 10 months of imprisonment in Russia for a drug charge.
Sources say Harris immediately left and didn’t stay for the game.
Since being released, Griner has publicly supported transgender women being included in women’s sports calling it a “crime” if they aren’t allowed to compete.
