HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. – One person was killed Monday morning in a fiery crash in a Hacienda Heights intersection.
A witness reported the crash to the California Highway Patrol at 1:47 a.m. and it was on Colima Road and Camino Del Sur, according to the CHP’s online log.
Two vehicles may have been involved and one vehicle crashed into a traffic signal and became engulfed in flames, the CHP said. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name and description of the deceased person were not immediately available.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
