LOS ANGELES – One person was hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash that also involved a fire hydrant in South Park Sunday.
The crash occurred around 2:25 a.m. at the intersection of South McKinley and Slauson avenues, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart. It was unclear how the collision happened.
A person was temporarily trapped in one of the vehicles, Stewart said. That person was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A child, whose age was not disclosed, also suffered minor injuries, according to the fire department.
