POMONA, Calif. – A man driving a motorcycle was killed in a Pomona traffic collision, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported around 9:15 p.m. Sunday at East End Avenue and Third Street, according to a statement by the Pomona police Traffic Services Bureau.
Arriving officers found the motorcyclist down with severe injuries, police said. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics rendered aid to the man but he died at the scene. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.
The other driver was not injured in the collision, police said.
The crash forced the temporary closure of East End Avenue from Mission Boulevard to the First Street Bridge.
