TORRANCE, Calif. – A motorcyclist who was injured in a crash in Torrance died at a hospital, police said Friday.
The crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near Sepulveda Boulevard and Anza Avenue, according to the Torrance Police Department.
“The preliminary investigation revealed that a blue 2005 Suzuki motorcycle driven by an unknown male was traveling westbound Sepulveda near Anza when it collided with a white 1997 Mercury vehicle driven by an 83-year-old female,” Torrance police said in a statement.
” It appears the accident did not involve alcohol or drugs,” police said.
The man’s identity is not known, police said. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the Torrance Police Department’s Traffic Division at 310-618-5557.
