COMPTON (2UG) – A man was reportedly shot during an attempted robbery Tuesday afternoon.
Residents reported in a Compton community group that a man was shot about 11:00 a.m. in the 200 west block of Rosecrans Ave at a dollar convenience store.
The man reportedly worked at the store and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Seriously, I worked in retail and believe me they don’t pay enough to stop crimes. That’s loss prevention and police work. life is more valuable and important than the corporates bottom line. I’d let them take it .. go.. shoot.. that poor man will be replaced in hours and not given a second thought and he put his life out there for them.
