LANCASTER, Calif. – A gas station clerk was shot Friday night in Lancaster.
Authorities responded to calls of shots fired about 11:30 p.m. in the East 400 block of Avenue L.
Upon arrival, deputies found the clerk suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.
Witnesses state that four black men ran out of the location.
The clerk was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
The shooting remains under investigation.
