LOS ANGELES – Family of one of the victims of a fatal crash have established a GoFundMe account to assist the family with burial costs.
Maria Belen Palanco Aviles, 20, was a USC student who was tragically killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Exposition Park neighborhood.
Family and friends are remembering Maria as “the best daughter, the best sister, and the best friend.”
“She was such a happy soul, always positive and appreciative of what she has. Always so sweet, adoring, and lit up any room she walked into. She had the brightest future ahead of her.Its still so unbelievably hard to believe that she was taken from us, being the beautiful person she is,” reads the GoFundMe.
Donations will help her family with funeral expenses.
