INGLEWOOD (2UG) – Current and past elected officials continue to gather behind the scenes support to run for the seat soon to be vacated by Sen. Steve Bradford.
The latest is former Congresswoman Laura Richardson is seriously contemplating a run for Senate District 35 which includes Compton, Gardena, and Inglewood.
Richardson hasn’t strayed far from politics since leaving office in 2013 after representing the former 37th Congressional District.
Richardson was succeeded by Janice Hahn.
Richardson continues to make appearance at poootocal events and last lent her support for former Carson City Clerk Myla Rahman.
