LOS ANGELES – An 83-year-old man suspected of fatally shooting a 31-year-old man in the parking lot outside a grocery store in Westchester was arrested Tuesday.
The older man got into a fight with the younger man in the parking lot of an Amazon Fresh store in the 6800 block of La Cienega Boulevard near Centinela Avenue and the border with Inglewood around 4:05 p.m. Tuesday and fatally shot him, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing information from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect was arrested late Tuesday afternoon, the LAPD told The Times.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene, The Times reported. His name was not released by officials.
