SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana police asked for the public’s help Wednesday in identifying or locating three men who broke into an elderly woman’s home and stole more than $35,000 in money and jewelry.
The crime occurred on April 28 at about 7:15 p.m., according to the Santa Ana Police Department. Three men forced entry into a residence while an elderly victim was home, ransacked the bedrooms and stole approximately $35,730 in jewelry and U.S. currency, police said.
The suspects fled the scene in a light-colored van.
The first suspect was described as 20-30 years old with a thin build, wearing a Guess brand puffy black jacket.
The second suspect was also 20-30 years old, with a heavy build, wearing a Puma brand black hoodie, black Adidas pants with three white stripes and a white facemask.
The third suspect was 20-30 years old with a medium build, wearing black clothing.
