LOS ANGELES – Authorities Wednesday identified a pedestrian who was killed on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in East Los Angeles over the weekend.
The man was hit by at least one vehicle about 10:10 p.m. Sunday while crossing the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Campus Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Andrew Perez Villela, 34, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported. His city of residence was not known.
The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
