LOS ANGELES – One man was killed and another critically wounded during a shooting in South Los Angeles before sunrise Saturday.
Charles Brown was a 25-year-old Los Angeles resident who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner’s office and police.
Paramedics rushed the other victim to a hospital. He was in his 30s, police said.
The shooting occurred at about 4:20 a.m. in the 8900 block of Western Avenue, near 89th Street, police said.
