SUN VALLEY, Calif. – A 32-year-old man found dead in Sun Valley in an apparent hit-and-run was identified Thursday.
Leonel Quintana was discovered dead at the scene of Thursday’s accident, according to Los Angeles County coroner records.
Officers were sent to Saticoy Street and Hinds Avenue at about 3:50 a.m. on a report that a man was lying in the roadway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department were called to the scene, but Quintana was pronounced dead at the location, police said.
A standing reward of up to $50,000 is offered by the city of Los Angeles for people who provide information leading to the perpetrators of fatal hit-and-run crashes.
