COMMERCE, Calif. – A man was shot and killed in Commerce, authorities aid Wednesday.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s East Los Angeles Station responded at 3 p.m. Tuesday to the 6500 block of South Flotilla Street between Davie and Garfield avenues regarding a disturbance at a business, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Deputies learned a homeless man was underneath a cargo trailer inside the lot and attempted to arouse him but he was unresponsive, authorities said.
They found the man had a gunshot wound to the upper torso and contacted Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics, who pronounced him dead.
