LONG BEACH – Ten motorists were cited during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The citations were issued for driving with a suspended/revoked license or without a license, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The checkpoint was held at Pacific Coast Highway and Daisy Avenue from 6 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday.
A total of 1,017 vehicles passed through the checkpoint and 276 vehicles were screened.
