LOS ANGELES – Authorities Monday chased a reportedly stolen car from the Lomita area to Wilmington, where two suspects were arrested and others were being sought.
The chase began about 1 p.m. and ended a few minutes later near D Street and Wilmington Boulevard, where the occupants of the car got out of the vehicle and ran off.
Two suspects were quickly taken into custody, and a perimeter was established in the search for the others.
The pursuit was initiated by deputies from the Lomita Sheriff’s Station, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The driver of the vehicle drove through alleys and across a grass field in a park before the group jumped out.
