AZUSA, Calif. – A man was found dead inside a vehicle by a towing company in Azusa Wednesday, prompting police to respond to the location, only to find a woman dead inside the vehicle as well.
Irwindale Police Department officers responded to Jan’s Towing at around 12:30 p.m. after receiving reports about a man discovered dead in a vehicle towed from an Arco gas station at 110 E. Longden Ave. in Irwindale, according to Sgt. Diego Cornejo.
When officers arrived at Jan’s Towing, they conducted a preliminary investigation and discovered the man and a woman dead in the vehicle. The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the location and formally pronounced the man and woman dead at the scene.
Detectives also responded to the Arco station, Cornejo said.
The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the coroner’s office.
