SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. – A gas station was robbed at gunpoint late Sunday night and the suspects are still on the loose.
Whittier police responded to 911 calls around 10:30 p.m. and responded to the 10700 block of Carmenita Road at the Arco AM/PM.
The suspects are described as African-Americans stormed into the convenience store wearing face masks. One of the men was armed with a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk’s register.
It is unknown how much was taken.
The men then fled in a white Ford Explorer SUV.
