GLENDALE, Calif. – An early morning police pursuit ended with a driver slamming his vehicle into a building at the Americana at Brand Saturday morning.
Glendale police officers were in pursuit of a driver around 3:00 a.m. which lasted less than 10 minutes.
The suspect then crashed into a building at the Americana for approx. 30 minutes before fleeing and leading officers on a foot pursuit.
The officers deployed their tasers and took the suspect into custody.
They were transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
The building suffered major damage with the vehicle fully inside it.
Americana at Brand is owned by former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso.
