SAN MARINO, Calif. – A man suspected of possessing several guns and a white powdery substance resembling cocaine was arrested in San Marino Tuesday following a collision.
San Marino Police Department officers responded to Huntington Drive and San Gabriel Boulevard at around 2 p.m. to reports about a two-vehicle traffic collision with one motorist standing outside his vehicle and brandishing a handgun, according to Sgt. V. Wilson.
Bobby Chung of Azusa was arrested without further incident. Detectives conducted a body search and discovered a loaded firearm on Chung’s waistband, Wilson said.
Officers also located another loaded firearm in Chung’s truck, along with a white powdery substance resembling cocaine inside his backpack on the front passenger seat.
The other driver involved in the collision was taken to a hospital for pain, but there’s no information about the person’s condition.
