I see the Lynwood councilman has tossed his hat into the ring for state assembly and we, the Black people of Lynwood say “no way Jose”! Pun intended.
His track record of supporting Black residents for elected positions in the city is atrocious.
Solache & Co. sidestepped appointing a Black woman as treasurer only to put former Lynwood Councilwoman Aide Castro’s son in the seat. Search his photos. How many Black people do you see him associating with?
He failed miserably in his attempt to run for Senate in 2019 thinking he was a shoe-in because he fit the profile of the outgoing Senator. Voters saw through that.
We need representation that is for everyone.
