Inglewood property owners have recently put up for rent studio apartments that were fully renovated to become short-term rentals before a strict ordinance was put in place which forbids the use.
The Short-Term Rental Ordinance forbids short-term rentals from being in apartments with more than (5) units. These units along Century are also exempt from being short-term rentals due to them being in the hotel zone which requires each building to have more than 50 units which they do not.
The owners attempted to put the two buildings up for sale but have since removed the listing.
I-Wood studio apartments are located at 4821 and 4949 Century Blvd. with some of the units listed as “furnished”.
There are three plans available with units ranging in size from 300 to 400 square feet.
