LANCASTER, Calif. – An elderly man was assaulted late Tuesday night, according to authorities.
Deputies responded to a call about 10:30 p.m. regarding an adult male who was stabbed in the chest.
Upon arrival, they discovered a male with a bloodied shirt and a stab wound to the chest.
The victim was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing is currently under investigation.
