LANCASTER, Calif. – A driver was left injured after a hit-and-run traffic collision Thursday night.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Lancaster Blvd. and 5th Street about 8:50 p.m. after receiving reports of a traffic collision.
Upon arrival, deputies found a driver trapped in a vehicle that required the use of extraction tools.
The driver declined to be transported by ambulance and was taken to a local hospital by private transport in an unknown condition.
The hit-and-driver is believed to have been driving a white truck with a camper top. The incident remains under investigation.
