LANCASTER, Calif. – Officials Saturday released the name of a 19-year-old man who was found stabbed to death in Lancaster.
The victim was identified as Daniel Montoya of Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Detectives responded around 10:10 a.m. Wednesday to the 43200 block of Sierra Highway on a report of a person not breathing, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Montoya died at the scene from apparent stab wounds to his upper body, the sheriff’s department reported.
No suspect information was immediately available.
