SANTA ANA, Calif. – A 54-year-old man was killed by a hit-and-run driver Monday in Santa Ana.
Police were called at 5:34 a.m. about the deadly collision at 2700 N. Main St., police said. The victim was identified as Donald Montelongo Sr.
Montelongo was crossing Main Street from the west side to the east side of the street, police said. He was hit by a northbound car, and the driver kept going, police said.
The vehicle was described as a white 2016-2018 four-door Kia Optima.
