LOS ANGELES – A ticket with all six numbers in the latest multi-state Powerball lottery was sold in Virginia and the player has the choice between receiving the $162.6 million jackpot in 30 graduated payments over 29 years or a lump sum payment of $82,652,621.31.
The numbers drawn Saturday were 10, 16, 18, 40, 66 and the Powerball number was 16.
The drawing was the 11th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold on Feb. 6.
A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number was sold in Texas and is worth $1 million.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. which conducts the game. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.
The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
The jackpot for Monday’s drawing will be $20 million.
