COMMERCE, Calif. – A driver was injured after an early morning collision with a Sheriff’s deputy Monday morning.
Deputies in the East LA station received a call for backup at about 12:50 a.m. after a colleague was involved in a traffic collision near Washington Blvd. and Telegraph Rd.
Upon arrival, deputies encountered a disabled vehicle with an injured occupant. One person was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
