LOS ANGELES – Police arrested at least one person after a pursuit of a stolen car ended in a three-car collision in the Harvard Heights neighborhood Tuesday that left a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman in critical condition.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were in pursuit of a group of stolen car suspects who drove away and eventually crashed into two other vehicles at 12:45 a.m. near 2193 W. Washington Blvd. east of Western Avenue, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

In addition to the critically injured patients, a 22-year-old woman, a 15-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl sustained non- life threatening injuries.
