LA HABRA, Calif. – A motorcyclist was critically injured when he crashed into the side of an SUV in La Habra, authorities said Monday.
The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at Hacienda Drive and Whittier Boulevard, according to La Habra police Sgt. S. Bohee.
The injured motorcyclist had stable vital signs and was taken to a trauma center by paramedics, he said.
The woman driving the SUV was on her way home from work at the time and was shaken up but not injured, according to a news videographer at the scene.
Impaired driving was initially not believed a factor but the investigation continued, Bohee said.
