United States District Judge Dale S. Fischer has granted the request of lawyers representing Los Angeles Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas’ request to have certain witness testimony kept under seal on March 10.
On March 9, Ridley-Thomas’ lawyer Ramsey Fisher filed a request to keep newly identified government witness M.M.’s, a former employee of the County of Los Angeles, testimony under seal.
“This request should be granted because the documents contain information subject to the protective order in this case,” wrote Fisher.
The government didn’t oppose the request.
According to the trial memo submitted to the court on the government’s behalf, M.M.’s testimony is scheduled to last 45 minutes and an additional 45 minutes under cross-examination.
Judge Fischer granted the request March 10.
