LOS ANGELES – A 37-year-old man was shot Saturday evening while driving in the Green Meadows area of Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred at 6:37 p.m. at Stanford Avenue and 108th Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.
The victim heard a gunshot, realized he was wounded and crashed his vehicle, Madison told City News Service.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he had stable vital signs, the officer said.
A suspect description was not available.
