Longtime Inglewood businessman Wayne Spencer has died. He is the owner of the security firm Spencer 4 Hire Security which has performed service in the city of Inglewood for decades.
His death was announced by the Inglewood Airport Area Chamber of Commerce where he previously served as a member of its board.
Last year Mr. Spencer was involved in a financial dispute with the organization that he brought to the attention of 2UrbanGirls and Inglewood Today newspaper seeking resolution over disputes over payments and allegations he was forced off the board when questions were made about financial irregularities in the chamber founded by Jan Vogel with the South Bay Workforce Investment Board.
2UrbanGirls last correspondence with Mr. Spencer, during the week of March 11, revealed the matter was not resolved.
