LA MIRADA, Calif. – A man was shot to death Wednesday night, according to authorities.
The man was shot while driving in his vehicle, which prompted a homicide investigation.
Sheriff deputies responded to a call at about 9:15 p.m. and arrived at the intersection of Rosecrans Ave. and Marquardt Ave.
They found the man suffering from gunshot wounds and not breathing. Life-saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
