SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. – County authorities Tuesday identified a 43- year-old man who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Santa Fe Springs.
The crash happened around 4:10 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Shoemaker Avenue and Telegraph Road, according to a news photographer at the scene.
Anastacio Honorato-Parra died on a sidewalk after the driver struck him and then slammed into a bus stop, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. He died of “multiple blunt traumatic injuries.”
The driver walked away from the scene. Police do not yet have a description of the motorist.
