IRWINDALE, Calif. – An Azusa man was killed Saturday in a single-vehicle crash in Irwindale.
Rigoberto Nunez was 20 years old, according to the coroner’s office.
A gray 2015 Honda was going southbound on Irwindale Avenue, south of Central Avenue, about 12:40 a.m. Saturday when it struck a raised center divider and then a palm tree on the same island, said Sgt. Diego Cornejo of the Irwindale Police Department.
Paramedics dispatched to the scene pronounced Nunez, the car’s lone occupant, dead at the scene, Cornejo said.
Irwindale police urged anyone with information regarding the crash to call them at 626-430-2244.
