NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in North Hollywood just hours after another fatal crash in the same area, authorities said Monday.
The most recent crash was reported at 11:02 p.m. Sunday on the Magnolia Boulevard off-ramp of the northbound Hollywood (170) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles were described as a black Honda CRV and a silver Toyota Camry.
One person injured in the crash died at a hospital, according to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
A description of the deceased patient and it was unclear whether there were more people injured, Kravig said.
A SigAlert was issued for the Magnolia Boulevard off-ramp from the Hollywood Freeway for the CHP’s crash investigation.
A woman was killed and her 10-month-old infant and two other people were injured when a driver ran a red light while exiting the Hollywood Freeway at Magnolia Boulevard four hours earlier, at 7:04 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department, which investigated that crash because it occurred on a city street.
